Republican Referendum

(1) A Republican Referendum is held to ensure the exercise of people's power and its direct participation in the management and administration of public affairs.

(2) The Republican Referendums is being conducted by universal, equal, secret and freely expressed suffrage, pursuant to the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and to this Code.

(3) The acts adopted through Republican Referendum have legal power upon their confirmation by the Constitutional Court, and are enforceable throughout the country.
