(1) The costs of the preparation and conduct of a by-election shall be paid from the budget of the national minority self-government if it is held because

a) the representative body or the general assembly was dissolved,

b) the representative body or the general assembly declared its dissolution.

(2) If a national minority self-government does not possess the funds to pay for the costs of the preparation and conduct of a by-election referred to in paragraph (1), the costs shall be advanced from the central budget.
