(1) This law sets the general legal framework for the organisation and conduct of the election of the members from Romania to the European Parliament.
(2) The members from Romania to the European Parliament shall beelected by universal, equal, direct, secret and freely expressed vote, in accordance with this law.
(3) The members from Romania to the European Parliament shall be elected for a five-year term.
