Performance by the CEC of certain procedures through electronic means during the transition period
1. The CEC may perform procedures of registration of voters visiting an electoral precinct during the next elections of the municipality bodies, of voting, counting of votes and drawing up of a summary protocol of the results through electronic means, including with the use of a photo search system, video recording of vote counting, scanning of ballot papers and barcode ballot papers.
2. The procedure and conditions for using the electronic means provided for by paragraph 1 of this article and the list of electoral districts where elections will be conducted with the use of these means shall be defined by a decree of the CEC.
3. If there is a need for additional financial resources for conducting elections in accordance with this article, additional funding shall be allocated to the CEC from the state budget.
4. During the next elections of the municipality bodies, for unsealing the packages received from the PECs of electoral precincts and recounting the ballot papers, to identify electoral precincts by random selection under Article 21(d2) of this Law, during the random selection, electoral precincts where electronic counters of ballot papers are placed shall be disregarded.
