(1) The election campaign may organize a single candidate or candidate (hereinafter: the candidate), representative of the proposer of candidates or lists of candidates, political parties or other legal or natural person in the case of a referendum, the legal or natural person who is the initiator of the request for tender referendum, or is interested in the outcome of the referendum (hereinafter referred to as the organizer of the election campaign). Interested natural or legal person referred to in this paragraph is a national of the Republic of Slovenia with the right to vote, an individual performing independent business, sole proprietor or legal person established in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia and, when the Slovenian government so decides, the competent department of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.

(2) For the implementation of the legality of the election campaign is the responsibility of the organizer of the election campaign. Election campaign organizer is also responsible for those tasks of the election campaign for the implementation of which is authorized in writing by other operators.

(3) The same lists of candidates and individual candidates for the election of deputies of the National Assembly and Members of the European Parliament and the candidates for the election of the President of the Republic may have only one organizer of election campaign.

(4) Each list of candidates and each candidate in the elections for the representative bodies and individual local community can have only one organizer of election campaign.

(5) The lists of candidates and individual candidates in the elections for the representative bodies and individual local communities nominated by territorial organizational units of the same political parties in the various local communities can have a joint organizer of the election campaign.

(6) Any natural or legal person who is the initiator of a request to call a referendum or is interested in the outcome of the referendum can have only one organizer.

( 7 ) Foreign legal entities and natural persons may not organize election campaigns.

( 8 ) The Republic of Slovenia is not permitted to conduct an election campaign for elections in another country.
