By the announcement of the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, on calling the elections for the members of representative bodies of local and regional self-government units in 2001, passed pursuant to this Law, the mandates of members of representative bodies of local self-government units and regional self-government units, elected at the elections held on 13 April 1997 and later on, shall cease.
