The name of a candidate may not appear on a list if the candidate will not attain the age required for membership of the relevant assembly during the term of office of the assembly to which the election is being held.
The name of the same candidate may not appear on more than one of the lists submitted to the same principal electoral committee.
If, in the case of an election to a provincial council or a municipal council, the name of a candidate who is not a resident of the province or municipality appears on a list, a declaration signed by that candidate and showing that, if elected, he intends to take up residence in the relevant province or municipality shall be submitted with the list.
